DESCRIPTION:In the interest of ensuring the safety of our community\, El Museo del Barrio has made the decision to temporarily close\, effective Friday\, March 13 at 6pm. Albeit difficult\, we arrived to this conclusion\, bearing in mind what is best for the health and wellness of our visitors and staff\, which is our top priority. The Museum’s administrative offices will remain open with remote access by staff. With this closure\, El Museo del Barrio will also be postponing all programming\, until further notice. For more info\, click here. \n— \nLearn\, play\, explore\, and grow during El Museo’s monthly bilingual program for our tiniest visitors. Join us on the first Saturday and Wednesday of every month as we embark on an adventure to discover new ways of interacting with art and each other. With time for play\, storytelling\, a museum walk and art making\, Coquí Club provides a fun and active way to explore El Museo and enjoy creative themes together. Program length: 60 minutes. \nRecommended for children ages 1-4 and their caregivers. Dress for a mess! \nThere are two sessions of the program\, starting at 9:30 and 11:00 am. Free tickets are distributed on a first-come\, first-served basis before each session on the day of the program in the museum lobby. We recommend arriving a few minutes before each session to sign up\, as space is limited and the program often fills up. All participants must be present to receive a ticket. \nThis program is not intended for school groups. To view offerings for preschool groups\, click here.
