DESCRIPTION:Join Coquí Club\, our lively bilingual program crafted especially for El Museo del Barrio’s youngest visitors! Led by our museum educators\, this interactive experience features storytelling\, discussions\, and a hands-on art-making project. Remember to bring your Coquí crowns and get ready for an adventure filled with creativity and fun! \nMark your calendars on Saturday\, December 7th\, and come celebrate the holiday season with a traditional Puerto Rican Parranda! This lively event will fill the air with music\, joy\, and holiday cheer\, welcoming both our Coquís and their grown-ups to join in the fun. Our celebration will feature a reading of Mimi’s Parranda by Lydia M. Gil\, followed by learning traditional holiday songs and enjoying our very own Coquí Club parranda. Plus\, participants will get to craft their own instruments to bring this musical tradition to life! \nDon’t miss out on this cultural holiday celebration—join us for a morning of song\, creativity\, and festive fun! \nFree event.
