SUMMARY:COQUÍ CLUB: Celebrating Mothers and Caregivers (Session 1)
DESCRIPTION:Experience Coquí Club—our engaging bilingual program\, designed for our youngest visitors—at El Museo del Barrio! Dive into an interactive program facilitated by our passionate museum educators\, filled with storytelling\, discussion\, and an art-making project. Don’t forget to bring your Coquí crowns and get ready to have a memorable time!   \nJoin us on May 4th to celebrate Mother’s Day and reflect on the timeless message carried by generations of loved ones. During this session\, participants will read Me Parezco Tanto a Mi Mama by Jorge Ramos\, a bilingual book that explores the similarities between children and their family members. Additionally\, visitors will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in one of Amalia Mesa-Bains’s mixed media installations\, and create their own Mother’s Day mixed media collages.  \nFree Admission.  To RSVP\, click here.   \nPlease note the new start times. Preregistration is required. Due to space limitations\, if you reserve a spot and are unable to join\, please cancel your registration in advance so spots can open up for others. Please register each child separately. Recommended for children ages 3–5. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
