DESCRIPTION:Join Coquí Club\, El Museo del Barrio’s lively bilingual program designed for our youngest visitors! Led by museum educators\, this interactive experience includes storytelling\, discussions\, and a hands-on art-making project.  \nMark your calendars for Saturday\, April 5\, as we celebrate National Poetry Month by exploring Brazilian Animal Poems and the striking sculptures inspired by Mestre Didi. After an engaging storytelling session\, children will bring these mystical creatures to life by creating their own sculptures in a hands-on art-making activity. \nOnce their sculptures take shape\, young artists will dive into a poem-writing exercise\, using descriptive words and poetic expression to give voice to their creations.  \nDon’t miss this exciting celebration of art\, poetry\, and culture—join us for a joyful morning of hands-on creativity and inspiration! And remember to bring your Coquí crowns as well.\n \n\nRSVP is required. Please register here >. \nSpace is limited—if you reserve a spot but can’t attend\, please cancel in advance to allow others to participate.  \nEach child must be registered separately. Recommended for ages 3–5.
