SUMMARY:COQUÍ CLUB: Green City (Mi Ciudad Verde)
DESCRIPTION:Learn\, play\, explore\, and grow during El Museo’s monthly bilingual program for our tiniest visitors. Join us on the firstSaturday and Wednesday of every month as we embark on an adventure to discover new ways of interacting with art and each other. With time for play\, storytelling\, museum walk and art making\, Coquí Club provides a fun and active way to explore El Museo and enjoy creative themes together. Program length : 60 minutes (2 sessions) \nExplore the importance of community gardens as we read together Marie Lamba’s Green\, Green: A Community Gardening Story and learn about the importance of gardens in the city. Afterwards\, we will look at pieces from our Permanent Collection that highlight agriculture life and plant our own trees. \nRecommended for children ages 1-4 and their caregivers. No reservations required\, first come first served. Dress for a mess!  \nReservation required\, but space is limited. \nThis program is not intended for school groups. Acompáñanos el primer sábado y miércoles de cada mes y embarca en la aventura de descubrir nuevas formas de interactuar con el arte y con los demás. Con tiempo para jugar\, contar cuentos\, explorar las galerías y hacer arte\, Coquí Club provee una forma activa y divertida de explorar El Museo juntos y disfrutar de temas creativos. Duración del programa: 60 minutos (2 sesiones) \nEste mes nuestros visitantes más pequeños explorarán la importancia de los jardines comunitarios. Juntos leeremos Green\, Green: Una Historia de Jardinería Comunitaria de Marie Lamba y aprenderemos sobre la importancia de los jardines en la ciudad.
