Guided gallery conversations\, art-making activities\, movement workshops\, and storytelling sessions encourage participants to explore Nuyorican visual culture through Rivera’s portraits\, documentary images\, experimental self-portraits\, and photographs of New York City’s subway and graffiti scenes from the late 1970s—activating the museum as a space of shared learning\, memory\, and joy.   \nAt 5:00 PM\, continue the celebration in El Teatro with the AFRO LATIN JAZZ ORCHESTRA: America at 250.  Register here  for the concert.
