Guided gallery conversations\, art-making activities\, movement workshops\, and storytelling sessions encourage participants to explore Nuyorican visual culture through Rivera’s portraits\, documentary images\, experimental self-portraits\, and photographs of New York City’s subway and graffiti scenes from the late 1970s—activating the museum as a space of shared learning\, memory\, and joy. \n \nJoin Miguel Aparicio (@Aparicioarts) for New York City Dances: To the Sounds of the Barrio\, an all-ages movement workshop inspired by Rivera’s Double Exposure\, blending salsa\, jazz\, and hip-hop to explore how Latino culture shapes New York City.
