DESCRIPTION:Due to unforeseen circumstances\, we will need to postpone this event. Please stay tuned for updates!\nJoin El Museo del Barrio and artist Raphael Montañez Ortiz for a Paper Bag Destruction Concert\, a special interactive performance inspired by his legendary Explode this Bag action\, first staged in London in 1966. This participatory piece will invite the audience to blow up and burst air-filled paper bags in a cathartic\, collective experience. \nThe event will be preceded by a reception in El Cafe. Las Galerías will remain open until 8pm to explore El Museo’s on view exhibition Raphael Montañez Ortiz: A Contextual Retrospective.
