SUMMARY:Sábado Familiar: Family Tour & Art Making Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Calling all familias! Join artist and educator Carlos Jesus Martinez Dominguez on a guided tour of the exhibition DOMESTICANX\, currently on view at El Museo\, followed by an art-making activity focused on the themes of home\, family and memory. \nDOMESTICANX brings together seven intergenerational artists whose art works address themes related to healing\, spirituality\, decoration and the home. Martinez Dominguez will engage families in looking and talking about selected art works on view in the galleries\, and will lead participants in a fun art making experience using mixed media and collage in El Museo’s talleres. Recommended for families and children ages 5-10. Children must be accompanied by an adult. \nFREE\, In-Person at El Museo | To RSVP\, click here.\nSpace is limited. Pre-registration is required.
