SUMMARY:Virtual Museum Mile Festival 2021
DESCRIPTION:El Museo and 8 other museums are coming together\, once again\, to present the 43rd annual Museum Mile Festival (Virtual). The day-long celebration of art and culture will feature live and pre-recorded programs\, virtual exhibition tours\, online activities for all ages\, and more. The content will be streamed across their respective websites and social media platforms. \nInspired by ESTAMOS BIEN – LA TRIENAL 20/21\, El Museo’s first national survey of Latine art\, featuring more than 40 artists from across the United States and Puerto Rico\, and currently on view\, the Museum presents a virtual tour of the exhibition by the Curators; a pre-recorded interview with participating artist Candida Alvarez; and an art-making workshop inspired by Candida’s work entitled ¿Como Estas? Expressing Feelings through Color\, Shape and Line.
